Alton Eugene Clark, 79, of Liverpool passed away Monday at St. Joseph's Hospital. Born in Locke, NY, he worked for Interstate Motor Freight and was a veteran of both the Marine Corps. and the Navy serving in both WWII and the Korean War. Alton was a member of the VFW Post 3146 and an avid car enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Jean A. Clark; three sons, Carl E. (Pam) Clark, Gerry A. (Michelle) Clark, Robert W. Clark; a sister, Shirley Elliott; five grandchildren, Anne, Jeff, Jeromy, Amanda and Holly; and two great grandchildren.
Services will be Friday at 10 AM at New Comer Family Funeral Home. Burial will be in the North Syracuse Cemetery. Friends may visit with the family on Thursday from 4-7 PM at the funeral home, 705 N. Main St., No. Syracuse.
