Alma F. Fergerson, 95, formerly of North Syracuse, passed away on Saturday at Van Duyn Nursing Home. She was born on July 8, 1917 in Pitcher Hill, NY daughter of George and Antonia Loughnot. Alma was a homemaker and caregiver for her beloved grandchildren. At one time Alma worked at the Lakeshore Yacht Club and other various restaurants. She was an avid Bingo player and loved cooking & baking for her family.
She was predeceased by her husband, Norman J. Fergerson, Sr., and a daughter, Judith A. Love.
Alma is survived by her son, Norman 'Jack' (Nancy) Fergerson, 2 daughters; Jeanne (Edward) Pierce, Jill (James) Mutolo, sister, Betty J. DalBo, 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, along with several nieces and nephews.
Private Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to the American Cancer Society.
