Stan Black, 86, of Mattydale, passed away Sunday surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on July 26, 1927 in Ogdensburg to the late Peter and Edna Black. Retired from Carrier after 40 years as a Millwright. He was a former member of the Moose Lodge in Solvay.
Stan loved his horses, gardening, the outdoors, dancing and spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents, Stan was also predeceased by 4 sisters and 2 brothers.
He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Dorleen Black; his children, Dori Black, Debra Black, Stan (Glorinda) Black and Delaine (Michael) Delia; his grandchildren, Mike, Shawn, Megan, and Sarah and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private services will be held.
Contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
