Alice A. Pitcher, 79, of Syracuse passed away on Friday, July 12th at home surrounded by loving family.

Alice was born on February 27, 1940, in Syracuse, the daughter of the late George and Nora Bowers.

Alice previously worked at Allied Laundry, Interstate Wholesale, Easy Bargain Center and retired from J.C. Penney.

She enjoyed BINGO, but most of all spending time with family, and her grandchildren cooking.

Alice is survived by her husband, Frank Pitcher; daughters, Julie Bergman-Lloyd, Beth Ann (Richard "Jody") Pitcher-Duggins, Jennifer (Thomas) Exline, and Heather (Joseph) Geary; grandchildren, Brittany Lloyd, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Alice Maria, along with brothers and sisters.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, July 19, from 4-6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, followed by a service at 6pm, also at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of CNY.
