Alice Marie (Werchinski) Papp
Alice M. Papp, 94 of Liverpool, NY passed away at the Syracuse Home in Baldwinsville on December 16, 2023.
Alice was born in Dexter, NY on July 31, 1929 to Stanley and Stella Werchinski. She was raised in Lorraine, NY and graduated from Adams High School.
She went on to become a Registered Nurse and graduated from the Crouse Irving School of Nursing. She retired from the Medical Registry of CNY in 1994.
She was preceded in death by her father Stanley Werchinski and her mother Stella R. Werchinski, her siblings Edward (Marjorie) Werchinski, Anna W. (Thomas) Kamalski, Adella W. (Robert) Benjamin, Francis (June) Werchinski, Raymond (Ann) Werchinski, Stepfather Clifford Guyett, Stepbrother William Guyett, her Husband Stephen Papp Sr and infant son Stanley.
Alice is survived by her Son Stephen (Darlene) Papp Jr, three Daughters, Mary (Michael) Papp Onofrietti, Theresa (Jeffrey) Papp Rebman, Stella (Douglas) Papp Wilson; Five grandsons, Justin Onofrietti, Matthew Onofrietti, Gregory Papp, Jay Rebman, Johnny (Amanda) Rebman; Four granddaughters, Angela (William) Chessum, Nicole (Steffan) Martin, Tessa Rebman and Grace Rebman. Great-grandchildren, Taylor and Cole Onofrietti, Jacob Onofrietti, Asher, Greyson and Isla Chessum, Collette and Cael Martin and many Nieces and Nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be Saturday, April 13, 2024. At 9:00am in St Rose of Lima Church, 407 S. Main St, North Syracuse NY 13212. With small reception following in church lower level. Interment will be at St. Cecelia's cemetery in Jefferson Co in late spring.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in Alice's name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
