Alice M. Gridley

Alice M. Gridley, 96, of North Syracuse, passed away on March 5, 2025.

Alice was born in Cazenovia, New York, on May 15, 1928 to Edward and Alice Osbelt.

Alice retired from North Syracuse Schools after ten years.

She was very strong-willed but also very loving. She loved her dog Sarah and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends.

In her free time, Alice enjoyed volunteering at Meals on Wheels and the VA Hospital. She especially enjoyed reading her Bible.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas W. Gridley, and her parents: father, Edward J. Osbelt, and mother, Alice J. Osbelt.

She is survived by her daughter, Gail M. (John) Flohn; two sons, Edward J. (Judy) Gridley and Thomas W. (Kathy) Gridley; six grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

A private funeral mass will be held at St Rose of Lima Church, with interment at White Chapel Memory Gardens, Kinne Road, DeWitt, NY.
