Alfred J. Pedercini, 90, of Clay, NY passed away on Sunday, July 31st. He was born in North Adams, MA to the late Gertrude and Joseph Pedercini. He was a graduate of Drury High School and the University of Massachussetts. Alfred served in the US Army Airborne with the 187 Regimental Combat Team during the Korean Conflict. He achieved the rank of Staff Sergeant. He worked for the Veteran's Administration in Massachussetts, then in Washington D.C. and finally in Syracuse, NY. Alfred retired from Loretto after 17 years of service. He was a member of the Syracuse Pistol Club and the Liverpool Rod and Gun Club.
Alfred was predeceased by two daughters, Amy and Patricia and sisters, Frieda Frese and Janet Morton.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Mary; children, Ellen (Bob) Eaton, Katherine (Louis) Hermesman, Joseph (Kim) Pedercini and John (Denise) Pedercini; 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Life will be held in the future.
