Alfred E. Voodre, 97, of North Syracuse, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by family. Al was a H.A.M Radio Operator and his passion was building H.A.M. radios. His family was the most important part of his life. Al was predeceased by his wife, Lorna M. Voodre.
Al is survived by 4 children, James W. (Carol) Voodre, Richard E. (Marie) Voodre, Susan A. Capria and Anne Marie (Kenneth J.) Nendza; 9 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren and 6 and ½ great-great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, Dec. 30th 7-9PM at the North Syracuse Community Center, 600 S. Bay Rd., N. Syracuse. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to PACE of CNY, 100 Malta Lane, N. Syracuse, NY 13212.
