Alexander Ruggireo

Alexander "Xander" Ruggireo (26 years old) of Syracuse, NY passed away on September 21st, 2020. Xander was predeceased by his beloved father Michael J. Ruggireo Jr. He is survived by his loving mother Joanne Ruggireo, daughter Arielle Ruggireo with her mother Chelsea Mashaw; brothers Michael (Andrea) McLaren Jr. and Dorian (Sarah) Ruggireo; sisters Moselene (Justin) Ruggireo-Strine, Trisha Jenkins – all of Syracuse, and Kayla (Josh) Hilton and Michelle Denny of Georgia; nephew Michael McLaren III, special Aunts Terry (Frank) Ruggireo-Herzog and Stephanie Ruggireo; and loved by several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and friends.

Xander lived in Syracuse his whole life and worked in the food service industry. He was an avid Eagles fan and loved his friends and family, especially his mom. He definitely considered himself a mama's boy. Even though he was taken too soon, Xander lived an extraordinary life. He mostly loved spending time with his precious 2-year old daughter. He was the life of the party wherever he went and he always lit up a room with laughter and fun when he was around. He had so much pride, a big heart, would fight for what he believed in and was down for any adventure. Many fond memories will be remembered and he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 4pm to 6pm with a funeral service to follow at 6pm at New Comer Cremations and Funerals, 705 N. Main Street, N. Syracuse, NY. The family wants to give Xander the memorial he deserves, to honor his memory, and say their last goodbyes.
