On May 26, 2022, we lost a very special guy. Chip, 69, of LaFayette passed away with the love of his family by his side, after a hard fight with cancer.
Chip was a gift to anyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He had a quiet, loving way about him, always with a smile for everyone and ready to lend a hand to anyone.
He retired from CED Baldwin Hall after 32 years. Chip loved gardening, camping, fly fishing, volunteering and puttering around the house.
Chip was a devoted, loving husband to his wife, Karen. He also leaves behind his son and best pal, Danny Button and his very special daughter-in-law Stephanie. We will miss him so much.
Chip is also survived by many extended family members, as well as his daughter and three grandchildren in Texas, and many wonderful friends.
There will be no calling hours or services.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Perry, everyone at Hematology Oncology, Patti, Naomi, and Pastor Mike at Hospice for their help and comfort through Chip's eight month journey.
We hope in Chip's memory you will love and live the rest of your days to the fullest.
In lieu of flowers please consider contributions to the American Cancer Society.
