Albert J. Hildreth, Sr., 84 of Liverpool died unexpectedly Friday at St. Joseph's Hospital.
Mr. Hildreth retired from McIntyre Papermill and Rural Metro. Al was a fun loving, hardworking family man. He was a US Army veteran serving in WWII and was a member of the American Legion Post 141 in Manlius. He was predeceased by his wife the former, Marylou Norris in 2007 and a son, Neil Hildreth in 2002.
Surviving are four sons, Albert (Alice) of Oswego, Robert (Patricia) of Waltham, MA, Delbert (Terry) of Savannah, NY and Phillip (Kim) Hildreth of Clay; three daughters, Cindy (Robert) Peake of Cicero, Melissa (Ross) Harrington and Beverly (Richard) Armstrong both of Syracuse; a daughter-in-law, Nanette Hildreth of Fulton; a brother, Jerry (Sharon) Hildreth of Batavia; 25 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be Thursday, 11 am at North Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Wednesday from 4-7 pm at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St.
