He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas Peter David Sr. and Marion Marie (Hill) David and siblings Gloria Freeburn, Timmy David, and Robin Andrews.
Al was a member of the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe in Akwesasne, New York. Al graduated from West Genesee High School and BOCES welding. Al was a hardworking man who had many jobs over the years including Smith and Caffrey, Laidlaw and A & E Transportation, eventually to "retire" into his favorite job of making Lee laugh and breaking new things to fix. Al was truly a jack of all trades and enjoyed teaching many of those to his children. Al was adventurous and loved to hike, snowmobile and hang out in the pool. Some of the best moments of his life were spent with his love, Lee and his dog Pooch. Al loved to think outside the box. He was never afraid to learn something new like teaching himself how to make an authentic brick pizza oven or tipi.
One of Al's favorite lines was "let it go", so please don't hold the pain in too long and smile or laugh, because above all, he was a comedian.
Calling hours will be held at New Comer Cremations & Funerals on Tuesday, February 6, 2024 from 2-5pm.
