Alan R. Murphy 68, of North Syracuse, NY passed away on November 6, 2022 He was born September 21, 1954 in Lowville, NY, son of Frank and JoAnne (Hill) Murphy. He graduated from Cicero North Syracuse High School June 1972. He was a member of the marching band and played the trumpet.
Al entered the United States Marine Corp. in January 1973 at Cherry Point, NC and was honorably discharged. He worked as a mechanic for many years.
He is survived by his 3 children, Jason Murphy of Gouverneur, NY, Amber Murphy of Theresa, NY and Cole Murphy of Watertown, NY; his mother, JoAnne of Lowvillle NY; 4 grandchildren; brothers, Michael Murphy of Constantia, NY and Randall Murphy of Adams Center, NY and sister, Sue Anne Murphy of Calcium NY; aunts; uncles and cousins.
He was predeceased by his father, Frank Murphy.
There will be no calling hours, a private burial will be held at Beaches Bridge Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
