Alan Lee Keller of Co. Rt. 45 Hastings, died Sunday, July 30th At University Hospital. A 1970 graduate of Central Square High School, he worked for Syracuse Housing Authority for 32 years, and retired in 2003. Alan was a past member of the Hastings Fire Department and an enthusiastic supporter of local community events and sports leagues.
Survivors: Alan was the son of Erma Watkins Keller who died in 1984 and Andrew Keller who died in 1955. His memory is held dearly by his sisters: Kay Guthrie of Central Square, Fay McElveen of McComb, MS, Wanda Keller of Hastings and his brother, Wayne Keller, of Hastings, and several nieces and nephews.
Services: There are no calling hours. A graveside service will be held at Parish Woodlawn Cemetery, Saturday, August 5th at 10:00 AM. A reception for family and friends will follow at Wayne's home, 226 Markowitz Rd, Hastings, immediately after the graveside service. Messages of sympathy may be left at newcomerfamily.com.
