Alan C. Balcom, 75, of Liverpool, passed away May 11, 2024. Alan was born in Camden, New York on May 10, 1949 to Alfred and Nellie Balcom.
Alan retired from Tech Erectors in 2002 after 26 years of service. In his free time, he enjoyed watching the New York Yankees, grilling, cooking, and going to Vegas. Alan was a loving partner, step-dad and grandfather. He loved spending time with his grandkids and listening to Austin play the tuba.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Alfred and Nellie Balcom; and Brother, Richard P. Balcom.
He is survived by his Partner of 25 years, Melody J. Williams; Step-Children, Cary (Cindy) Matt, Tammy (Charles) Matt, Elizabeth Williams; Grandchildren, Austin Barnhill, Addison Barnhill, Tatum, Victoria, Omar, Jasmine, and Husein; Siblings, Joan (Wayne) Buyea, Pat (Grover) Hedgecock, Jerry (Elaine) Balcom, Linda (Frank) Blocker, Marianne (Eddie) Landson, and Judy Balcom; and many Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins.
Family and friends may call on Wednesday, May 15, 2024 from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, 705 North Main Street, North Syracuse.
Interment at Oakwood Cemetery.
