Al "Greaser" Donadio, of Brewerton, passed away Tuesday.
He honorably served in the US Army.
Al retired from the Syracuse Police Department as the Garage Supervisor.
Al's passion for drag racing began at an early age and he enjoyed drag racing well into his retirement. He also had a soft spot for stray cats.
He was predeceased by his parents, Al and Mary and his brother, Nick.
Survivors include his wife, Irene; his sons, Mark (Martha) and Gary (Erica) and four grandchildren.
Visitation will be 4-7PM on Monday with a celebration of Al's life following at 7PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to CNY SPCA.
