Aiko Nagano Martin

Aiko Nagano Martin, 72, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. She was born in Yahata, Japan. Aiko loved children, especially her own grandchildren. She worked as a childcare provider her whole life, retiring from the Tully School District After School Program.

Aiko was predeceased by her parents, Yori and Tatsuko Nagano; husband, Robert and her grandson, David "DJ" Lang.

She is survived by children, David, Lisa (Dave) Lang and Melissa; grandchildren, Brianna Tousley, Elijah, Malcom and Angel Person; two sisters, Keiko Iwaski and Meiko Shimono of Japan and many extended family members in Japan.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Aug. 5th 3:30pm-6:30pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals in N. Syracuse. Burial for family and close friends will be held on Thursday 11am in Greenlawn Cemetery.
