Adrian F. Coon, 97, of Clay, passed away June 15, 2018.
Adrian was born in Syracuse, New York on April 5, 1921 to the late Earl and Ruth Coon. Upon his high school graduation he joined the All Nationals team playing football, softball, and track. Buster was an army veteran enlisting in 1945 and belonged to the American Legion and the VFW. He enjoyed fishing, golf, and most of all he loved to dance. After his retirement to Florida he became an avid Dolphins and Braves fan.
He was preceded in death by a brother, Erwin Coon; and a sister, Betty Sears.
He is survived by daughter, Linda DeBottis; son, Robert (Dorothy) Coon; two grandchildren, Michael (Robin) Coon, Lisa Alvaro (Louis); great-grandchildren, Jacob, Landrey, Cameron, and Carson; step-daughter, Dena (Robert) Batzer; step-son, Donald "Bucky" (Kim) Snell; nieces, Darlene VanDerWater, Kathy and Karen Coon.
