Adelia M. Loretz, 97, of Manlius, passed away on Wednesday at Upstate Hospital. She was born on August 3, 1916 in Victory, NY, daughter of Ray and Myrtie B. Walker. Adelia loved the Lord and church was an important part of her life. She loved her family, cooking and entertaining guests. She was predeceased by her husband, LaVern J. Loretz, Sr. in 2013, grandson, Matthew Lincoln, great granddaughter, Chelsea Combes and sister Sally Teachout.
Surviving are her children: Carolyn (Jerry) Combes, Gloria (Dave) Lincoln, Virginia (Fred) Hittenrauch, LaVern, Jr., Duane (Eileen), David P., 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, and her brother-in-law, Marion Teachout, Jr., along with nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday February 13,from 4-7pm at the Evangel Community Church, 500 McDonnell St., Chittenango. Services will be held on Friday 11am at the church. Burial will take place in White Chapel Memory Gardens, DeWitt.
