Adalaide E. Craker, 77, of Buckley Landing, North Syracuse passed away peacefully at 5:30 PM December 29, 2020 with the love of her family.
Addy was born in Indiana, but she spent her entire adult life in CNY. She worked a variety of jobs in hard working careers making an impact on everyone she worked with and made great friendships along the way. If you had the great fortune to meet her, she definitely left an impact on your life.
Addy was predeceased by her parents, Christina and Wilford Janes, as well as her brother, Adrian Janes.
She is survived by her 3 sons, Bud (Kim) Loura of Fulton, Ralph (Kathleen) Loura of Danville, CA and Glenn Croop of Leadville, CO. She is also survived by her sister, Avis Compo of Central Square.
She leaves behind 4 Grandsons, Zach Loura of Jamesville, Nick Loura and Nathan Loura of Nashville, TN and Tanner Bryants of Colorado Springs, CO; 2 Granddaughters, Alexis Rudney and Sydney Loura of Danville, CA. She was so proud of each of them.
Addy loved her family and friends with great passion and was known to give of herself and her time to anyone in need, regardless of her own needs.
She loved playing Yahtzee (even though everyone knew she cheated, no one said anything). She also loved to go to Tassones Wine Garden in Baldwinsville (where they made her feel like a queen).
A special thanks from the family to Max, Julie and Stacey at Buckley Landing who made her last year so special.
Remember Mom, "No one is a failure who has friends and to us, you are the richest woman in town."
There are no services at this time, the family is planning a celebration of life at a later date.
The family has received an outpour of support from so many people and wishes of "Let us know if we can do anything".
In lieu of flowers, we ask that you do a kind act in her name to a stranger and ask them to "pay it forward".
Buy a cup of coffee, someone's breakfast or lunch to that couple at the next table. Tell them you are paying it forward for a great soul Miss Addy. We miss you.
