A. Margaret (Peg) Niedzialkowski passed away with her family by her side on Saturday.
Peg was a US Army Veteran during the WWII era. She later became a member of the American Legion, where she was a member of the color guard for several years. She also held position of chaplain. Peg also was a member of the Women in the Military Service group.
She was an active member of the St. Rose of Lima Senior Group and the North Syracuse Senior Group.
She enjoyed playing bingo but most of all loved being with her family.
She is predeceased by her husband, Andrew J. Niedzialkowski and son, Edward Niedz.
She is survived by her children, Helen (David) O'Neill, Charles (Barbara) Niedzialkowski, Andria (Don) Vlack; Grandchildren, Andrew Williams, Angela Turck, Chris Williams, TC Niedzialkowski, Heather Anders, Kelly Thein, Alexandra Niedzialkowski, Sarah Niedz, Jessica Niedz; Great grandchildren, Isabella Turck, Madelyn Turck, Brock Williams, Beau Williams, Fiona Thein, and Sophia Thein.
Visitation will take place Tuesday, 4-7 PM at New Comer Funeral Home, N. Syracuse. A funeral mass will be held Wednesday, 10 AM at St. Rose of Lima Church. Burial to follow in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
Friends and family are invited over to the O'Neills residence in North Syracuse immediately following burial to continue celebrating Peg's life.
