Amber Purdy

Amber Purdy, 32 of Syracuse, NY was the beloved daughter of Melissa Purdy and Timothy DeRyke, who departed us on the morning of January 27, 2024.

Amber was a carefree spirit who had a lasting impression on everyone she met with her bubbly personality, and energy that would always have you smiling. She was the one who could brighten any room with her presence. She was a loving soul, that genuinely cared about everyone that came into her life. She would freely give whatever she had and would help in any way. She was always willing to lend a listening ear and was more than happy to help as a servant of the lord. In moments of personal trials and tribulations, Amber's faith remained steadfast. She faced her life's challenges with courage and an unwavering trust in God's plan. Amber found solace in the Scriptures with her time in bible studies as a reminder of God's ever-present love and strength in times of trials and hardship.

She was the mother of five beautiful children who she loved dearly and wants nothing but the best for them and to grow into loving, caring individuals. She will forever be in our hearts forever and remembered as our boisterous caring and loving daughter, mother, sister, cousin, niece and friend to all that loved and knew her!

May the memory of Amber continue to inspire us to live our lives with kindness and love for others and faith and devotion. May we hold onto the blessed hope of being reunited with our loved one in the glorious presence of our Lord and Savior.

She leaves behind her mother Melissa Purdy, father Timothy DeRyke, three sisters Christina Strickler, Brittany DeRyke and Cassie Purdy, and brother Brandon DeRyke, her five children Cheyenne, Unity, Adrian, Sakora and Selena.
