Connie J. Clayton

Connie J. Clayton, 65, of Canastota, graduated from this life and moved onto Heaven. All of the little things that most people take for granted in life, Connie did not. She appreciated everything and always showed up for everybody no matter what. Connie enjoyed camping, motorcycling and playing games with family. She will be remembered for her huge heart, always putting others ahead of herself. Connie loved her brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews and cousins dearly.

Connie was predeceased by her parents, William "Dan" and Margaret "Peggy" VanAuken; and brother, Philip VanAuken.

She is survived by her sister-in-law, Sandy VanAuken; sister, Joanne Griffith; brothers, Richard (Rosemary) VanAuken and David (Evelyn) VanAuken; many nieces and nephews; significant other, Joseph Larkin and his children, Crystal, Jason and Sara and his grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 12th at Noon in White Chapel Memory Gardens, 6633 Kinne Rd., Dewitt, NY 13214.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Connie to the Abraham House, 417 N. Washington St., Rome, NY 13440.
