Mark William Joseph Clayton

Mark William Joseph Clayton, 59, of East Syracuse, passed away November 22, 2022. Mark was born in Syracuse, New York on April 10, 1963 to Munroe and Evelyn Clayton. He was a graduate of North Syracuse Central High School, class of 1982. Mark was a lover of Rock music and lived his life with the beat of the drums in his heart, likely to the beat of anything Queen. He enjoyed playing the drums, laughing and fishing. Mark cared deeply for those he loved.

He is survived by his daughters, Crystalyn (Nicholas) Parsons and Rebecca (David) Clayton; grandchildren, Nicholas, Brittyn, and Deacon; father Munroe Clayton; mother, Evelyn Clayton; brothers, Bruce Clayton and Brian (Sue) Clayton; nephew Ryan Clayton; and several cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Calling Hours will be held Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4-7PM at New Comer Cremations and Funerals. Memorial contributions may be made in Mark's name to The Mental Health Foundation.
