Aj Jones

AJ Jones, 48, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully at home on October 18, 2022. AJ was born in Syracuse on May 15, 1974 and grew up on the westside all his life. He was the son of the late Arthur and Dorothy Jones. AJ was known for his love of cooking. He had his passion for feeding all his family and friends. He was the life of the party. He was "The Party." He had the best jokes. He enjoyed fishing, and was an amazing drummer. AJ had many friends and was loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his soulmate, of 30 years, Patricia M. Latray, 2 daughters, Desiree Latray, Angelina Jones, 3 Grandchildren; Gianna, Guilianna & Christopher, Jr., brother, Jaime Jones (Kathy Cox), sister, Janice (Ross) Langevin, brother, Jody (Lisa) Jones, along with several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday October 28th from 4-7pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse.
