Debbie Lee Tefft

Debbie Lee (Sheltra) Tefft, 62, of Liverpool, NY passed away on Thursday, March 3, 2022 at St. Joseph's Hospital, Syracuse, NY, after fighting a courageous battle with Emphysema. She was surrounded by loving family members.

Debbie was born on July 1, 1959 at Newport, VT Hospital. She attended North Country Union High School and later moved to Northern New York and spent most of her life there.

Debbie loved spending time with her grandchildren, children and family. She loved to go for walks, attend State and County Fairs, going to concerts with her brother, Woody. She loved listening to music, and she loved catching up on the phone with friends and family. Debbie enjoyed starting her children's day off with a loving text message and an "I love you" text, " Just because". She loved to laugh and that laugh along with her smile is what we will miss the most. Debbie, you are loved and you will be missed.

Debbie was predeceased by her mom, Frances Horner. Grandparents, Howard Horner, Lillian Snyder, Theodore Sheltra and Ellen Caswell. Friends, Rick Smith, John Hatton, Joe Lowe and Daryl Wagner.

Debbie is survived by her children: Eric Delage of Binghamton, NY, Brett Delage of Binghamton, NY, Kyle Lowe of Newport, VT, Steven Lowe of Liverpool, NY, Ryan Hatton of Sheryl NY and Yvonne Hatton of Binghamton, NY.

Debbie is also survived by siblings: Bernadette Sheltra, Elizabeth McMullen, Mary Sheltra, Wilfred Sheltra, Pamela O'Hara, Steven Sheltra, Georgie Halbach and Kimberly Searles.
Her father, Wilfred T. Sheltra of Island Pond, VT. Along with several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles.

Calling Hours will be on March 24, 2022 from 12pm-1 pm at New Comer Funeral Home 705 N. Main Street, North Syracuse, NY. Graveside Services will follow at 2 pm at Loomis Hill Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Rd, Syracuse, NY.
