Michael J. Burdick passed away in Florida, on March 12, 2020, after a long illness.
Michael retired from CNS High School in January of 2017, where he was a custodian for 28 years.
After retiring, Mike moved to Leesburg, Florida with his wife of 37 years and family.
While in Clay, NY, Mike was active with the Blue Shirt Umpiring Association. He coached softball, participated in several bowling leagues and spent time with family and friends. After moving to Florida, he became active in the Pennbrook Fairway Bowling League, as well as dart and shuffleboard leagues.
Mike was predeceased by his father, John Burdick.
Mike is survived by his wife, Cynthia (Aust) Burdick; mother, Patricia (Riano) Burdick; daughters, Ashlee N. Burdick, Kimberly (Burdick) Schwartz; son-in-law, Robert Schwartz Jr.; and his beautiful granddaughters, Melody and Guiliana Schwartz, who he was so proud of. Also surviving are his brother, Thomas Burdick and sister-in-law Susan Mallette Burdick of NC; as well as several nephews and cousins.
A Celebration of Life will be held on July 25, 2020, from 12-2pm, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, NY . Please come share your favorite memories with his family and friends.
