Maxine "Mickey" Chapman, 93, of North Syracuse passed away on Friday at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville. She was born on September 24, 1926 in Georgetown, NY daughter of the late Waldo and Sophia Anderson. She worked many years as a tupperware dealer in the Syracuse Area. Mickey was an avid bridge player and she enjoyed bingo with her friends. She was also a member of the North Syracuse Methodist Church.
Maxine is survived by her sons, David A. (Kelly) Chapman of Sherburne, Donald (Phyllis) Chapman, Columbus, OH, Kenneth (Robin) Chapman, Hershey, PA; 6 grandchildren, Sandy, Bobby, Chelsea, David, Carly, and Casey; 8 great grandchildren; and sister, Marie Sturge, along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert Chapman; daughter, Debbie Billington; sister, Helen and brothers, Carl and Donald.
Visitation will be from 10-11am on Saturday, February 1, 2020, at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 North Main St., North Syracuse, with services at 11am.
Burial will be at North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Alzheimer's Association.
