Brenda L. Dixon, 59, of Solvay passed away on Thursday at Upstate University surrounded by family.
She was born in Los Angeles, CA on February 28, 1960 daughter of Robert and Mildred Dixon.
Brenda was a Manager at Life Storage in Syracuse. Brenda enjoyed baking, arts and crafts, but most of all, she enjoyed being with her family especially her grandchildren. Brenda's door was always opened to anyone who needed help.
Brenda is survived by her son, Shane (Alicia) Dixon; daughter, Hailly Dixon; sisters, Betty (Donald) Cox, Donna Cox, Patti Waldby, Lisa (Frank) Ortiz, Kelly Dixon; brother, Robert Dixon, Jr.; grandchildren, Lily, Aliece, Sean and Katlyn; along with many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents.
Visitation will be held on Thursday from 3 -6pm at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 705 N. Main St., N. Syracuse, with services at 6pm.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
