Helen Marie Patapow, 85, of Clay, passed away January 22, 2019.
Helen was born in Syracuse, NY on July 18, 1933 to the late Carmen and Rose Rugalino.
Helen retired from General Electric as an Executive Secretary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and traveled frequently to the West Coast. Helen was always entertaining friends and family in her home and all were warmly welcome. She loved music and went to plays and concerts in her travels. Helen was an avid fan of SU sports. Helen was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Cicero.
Helen was predeceased by her sisters, Angeline Donato, Eileen Sorrels, Lucille Marino and her aunt, Josephine Kunz.
She is survived by her nieces, Cheri, Rosemary and Michelle Donato of Oswego and Annette Sorrels, Adrienne Dallas, Rosalie Lacson, Andrea Mitchell of California; one nephew David Donato of Oswego.
Visitation will take place on Tuesday from 10-11 am at New Comer Cremation & Funerals, N. Syracuse. A service will follow at 11 am. Burial to take place at Pine Plains Cemetery, Clay.
In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 8229 Brewerton Road, Cicero, NY 13039.
