Stanley J Kaminski, 88, of Clay, passed away at his home on October 23, 2017 after a long illness.
Stanley was born in Syracuse, New York on March 26, 1929 to the late Dominick and Lottie Kaminski.
Stanley served in the United States Navy for four years and was a member of American Legion Post #787. He retired from Crouse Hinds after working years as an electrician and later in management. In his free time, he was an avid hunter, and enjoyed bowling.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Kaminski; a son, Bruce S Kaminski; and a brother, Ted Kaminski. He is survived by three daughters, Michelle Evans of Syracuse, Diane Kaminski of Port Byron, NY, Lisa Acevado of Connecticut; and son, Stanley A. Kaminski of Alaska.
He is also survived by a step-son, Harold Wallace of Phoenix, NY; and step-daughter, Cynthia Belknap of Camillus, NY. Surviving him also is a sister; Judy Uva of Florida; a brother; John Kaminski of California; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and the mother of his children, Jacqueline Argersinger of Baldwinsville, NY.
Visitation will be private. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday at 9:30 am at Sacred Heart Church, Cicero, NY with Father Richard Prior officiating with burial to follow at North Syracuse Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Francis House.
